Photo texts
Each photo's alternative text, with filters and a file for the AI to write them.
What it is
Alternative text describes the photo for Google (image search) and for people who use screen readers. The SEO → Photo texts screen shows the whole library, where each photo appears, which ones have no text or a poor one (file name, "IMG_2034", only numbers, repeated) and lets you edit right there.
How to use it
- Turn on the SEO module.
- Open SEO → Photo texts and use the "No text" and "Poor text" filters.
- To write many at once, click "Download file for the AI": you get a .zip with the photos (40 per batch). Drag it into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini with the message "Follow the instructions in instrucoes.md".
- Come back and click "Send AI response" (or paste the text). Approve all or one by one and save. Each save shows up in "Latest changes" with an Undo button.
Common problems
The file came as .md, without the photos.
The server cannot build .zip files (ZipArchive). The AI only sees the photo names and the descriptions are less precise. Ask your host to enable PHP's zip extension.
My AI does not open .zip files.
Unzip the file and send instrucoes.md together with the photos in the fotos folder.
The "Used on the site" filter shows no number.
Analyze the library first in Images → Clean up the library. It takes a minute.
If something goes wrong
Undo the last save in "Latest changes". Turning off the SEO module does not remove the texts already on the photos.
