What it is
The SEO module handles what Google reads: each page's title and description, the sitemap, structured data (schema) for your site type, and redirects from old addresses.
How to use it
- It is part of the Essential profile.
- Open SEO → Home and run the SEO assistant (2 minutes): tell about the business, pick the title pattern and which pages should not show up on Google. Only empty fields in the Business tab are filled in, and everything can be undone.
- On the Home tab, the numbers at the top (pages without a description, titles out of range, photos without text, weak pages) open the list already filtered, and the "What to do now" card shows the tasks that help the most first.
- Edit the title and description in the "SEO" box of each page or post.
- If you used Yoast or Rank Math, use "Import" in the SEO screen: texts are brought over without deleting anything from the old plugin.
- Submit the sitemap address (shown in the SEO screen) to Google Search Console.
- In SEO → With AI, download the internal links or FAQ file, send it to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and upload the answer: you review before saving and everything can be undone. No key or account needed.
- In SEO → Weak pages, click Analyze: short, duplicated, competing or unlinked pages show up, each with what to do.
- In the Social tab of the SEO box, see how the link looks on WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn before sharing.
Common problems
Two titles show up in the page source.
Another SEO plugin is still active. After importing, deactivate the old one from the WordPress Plugins screen.
A link suggested by the AI was left to place by hand.
The link is placed automatically only when the sentence appears exactly once in the text. If the sentence changed or repeats, copy the link and add it in the editor where it fits best.
It says "This response is for another file".
Each file has its own screen: the photos answer goes in Photo texts, the links answer in With AI → Internal links, the questions answer in With AI → FAQ and the whole-site answer in Home → Adjust the whole site. The message tells you the right place.
The sitemap returns a 404 error.
Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save without changing anything. That refreshes WordPress addresses.
If something goes wrong
Turn off the SEO module. The texts you wrote are kept for when you turn it back on.
