Ranking Suite Terms of Use

This is an English translation of the Termos de Uso do Ranking Suite. If the two versions differ, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to anyone who downloads, installs or uses the Ranking Suite plugin, developed by Ranking LTDA("Ranking"), registered in Brazil under CNPJ 26.519.606/0001-21, headquartered at Rua Frei Leopoldo, 39, Sala 4 — Ouro Preto, Belo Horizonte/MG, CEP 31310-190. The use of our website and platform follows our general Terms of Use (in Portuguese), and data processing follows our Privacy Policy.

2. The plugin is free

You can download, install and use Ranking Suite without paying anything and without signing up, from our website or from the WordPress.org plugin directory.

3. License: GPLv2 or later

Ranking Suite is free software, distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), version 2 or any later version. This means you can:

• use the plugin on as many sites as you want, including client sites;
• study and modify the code;
• redistribute the plugin, with or without changes, as long as it is under the same license.

These terms do not restrict any right granted by the license. If this text and the license differ, the license prevails.

4. Provided "as is", without warranty

As the GPL itself states, the plugin is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including that it will work without errors, that it is fit for a particular purpose or that it is compatible with every theme, plugin and server. We work to make it safe and stable, but every site is different.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranking is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or site downtime resulting from the use of the plugin. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that Brazilian law does not allow to be excluded.

5. Back up before activating

Ranking Suite works on important parts of your site, such as cache, images, SEO and security. Before activating it — and before turning on each module — make a full backup (files and database) and keep it off the server. If possible, test first on a copy of the site (staging environment). You are responsible for the settings you choose on your site.

6. Support

• Free support is provided on the Ranking Suite forum on WordPress.org, publicly, so that answers help other people too;
• We answer on a best-effort basis, but free support has no guaranteed response time and does not include services on your site (such as installation, migration or fixing other plugins);
• Found a security issue? Do not post it on the forum. Follow our Security Policy.

7. Privacy

The plugin does not send data from your site to Ranking. It stores, inside the site itself, the IP addresses of login attempts and security logs (for up to 90 days by default). The options that send data to third parties — IndexNow, Google Fonts and captchas — come turned off. As the site owner, it is up to you to inform your visitors about these records in your site's privacy policy. Details in the "Ranking Suite" section of our Privacy Policy.

8. Trademarks

WordPress, Elementor, All-in-One WP Migration and other trademarks mentioned in the plugin, its documentation or this website belong to their respective owners. Ranking Suite is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by them; the names appear only to describe compatibility and features. "Ranking" and "Ranking Suite" are names of Ranking LTDA.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the plugin or the law changes. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of this page. Changes to these terms do not take away the rights that the GPL already granted for the versions you received.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, are chosen to settle disputes, except where the law guarantees a different venue.
